Real Lettings is a not-for-profit social enterprise. Any profits we make go back to Broadway so the charity can help more people on their journey from street to home.

The demand for social housing is increasing, but there is a limited supply of properties. People with low support needs are not classed as vulnerable and are therefore not prioritised. This means it is increasingly difficult for them to move on from hostels, supported housing and temporary accomodation into more long term homes.

The private rented sector is the only other option, but people with a low income face a number of barriers against securing this type of accommodation.

This is where Real Lettings steps in.

We work with private sector landlords, many of whom want to use their properties to help give a person a step up in life, providing them with a low risk and low maintenance way to achieve a consistant and financially viable income on their properties.

With these properties we create opportunities for people to move from temporary accommodation into quality and affordable homes without the requirement for the upfront deposit that is usually expected when renting privately.

We help start a new stage of a persons journey to full independance, giving them a platform where they can build self confidence, save money and establish a credible landlord reference for when they want to move on from their Real Lettings property.
