Real Lettings works with people who are finding it difficult to secure long term accommodation. Most of our tenants have experienced homelessness in the past and are looking for a home of their own to regain their independance.

Our free Tenant Management service includes:

- Personally matching each tenant to their property
- Providing a comprehensive financial check of every tenant
- Full reference checking
- Housing checks going back five years
- Checks to ensure all bills have been set up correctly 

Due to our full tenancy management package we currently have a tenancy success rate of 95% (compared to 59% for all other tenancies in the private rented sector)

Tenant Case Study

Tom previously worked as a builder to support his wife and children. The breakdown of his marriage left Tom without a place to stay, forcing him to sleep on friend’s sofas. Running out of favours with friends, he had no choice but to sleep on the streets.  With nowhere to go and no idea of where to find help, Tom’s problems got worse.  Being on the streets had a chaotic affect on Tom. He lost confidence, his social skills deteriorated and he had little sense of self worth and dignity.  Tom was moved in the supportive environment of one of Broadway’s hostels.  After 9 months in the hostel Tom felt ready to move into his own flat and was offered a one bed room flat through Real Lettings.  Tom now has a place for his children to visit and sees them every weekend.
